Gwendolyn Dyson has been married to Darren Dyson for 31 years. They are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters: Darian, Daja, and Destiny, and two sons-in-law, Justin and Sean. They are also the proud grandparents of five beautiful grandchildren: Jakayla, Jamyia, Camille, Jaise, and Sean III.

Gwen earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at Houston Christian University.

Gwen is the founder of EMBRACE Non-Profit Outreach. EMBRACE stands for “Embracing Me By Restoring A Conducive Environment.” About 10 years ago, God gave her the vision for the outreach, and Gwen began writing the vision that God placed in her heart.

EMBRACE provides services, counseling, resources, support, and spiritual guidance to men, women, girls, and boys to assist them in living productive, healthy, and fulfilled lives. EMBRACE also encourages others to embrace life transitions and obstacles that have arisen and may arise in the future.

Gwen is a licensed Missionary in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) and a Life Coach. Throughout most of her adulthood, she has worked as an Educator, Manager, Counselor, Mental Health Professional, Operations Manager, and Administrative Assistant.

She has a very compassionate heart and a deep love for God’s people. Gwen enjoys going to church, sharing God’s Word, helping others, shopping, traveling, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.
